Before go-live

If you cancel before go-live, we stop work, explain what has been completed, and refund the unused portion. Monthly care starts only after you approve launch and Fat Spider confirms go-live.

Cancel using the pre-launch cancellation control in Desk or email billing@meetfatspider.com from your authorized billing contact address. Desk records cancellation and blocks activation for that project. We acknowledge emailed requests and record them promptly.

We provide an itemized account of reasonable, documented work completed and expenses you approved that cannot be canceled, credit payments received, and refund any unused balance within 14 calendar days of cancellation. Completed-work charges are capped at the agreed project fee including approved scope changes; approved noncancelable expenses are separate. No separate milestone valuation schedule or standard percentage deduction is required. If work has not begun and no such expenses exist, payments received are refunded in full. Paid completed deliverables are made available subject to applicable licenses.

Canceling withdraws authorization to start care for that project. A canceled project cannot be reactivated using its previous recurring authorization; resuming requires a new agreement and an appropriately authorized new project or billing arrangement.

A cancellation recorded before billing activation begins blocks that activation. If activation has already begun, use the ordinary subscription cancellation or payment-resolution process. If you emailed a clear cancellation before the agreed activation time and our processing delay caused a charge, we use the time we received your request when correcting that charge.

Monthly subscriptions

Either party may cancel ongoing maintenance on 30 calendar days written notice, with no minimum commitment unless the completed order expressly states one. Use the Desk care-cancellation control where available or email billing@meetfatspider.com from your authorized billing contact address. The billing portal remains available for payment methods and invoices.

We record the notice and confirm the effective service end 30 calendar days after receipt. Service continues through that notice period, subject to written overdue notice and seven calendar days to pay an undisputed overdue amount before a pause. Billing may continue for service during the notice period; cancellation does not automatically end service at the nearest renewal.

There is no additional standard cancellation fee. Prepaid maintenance covering time after the effective service end is refunded within 14 calendar days after that date. Unused work allowances do not carry over, and valid unpaid invoices remain payable.

Timing and confirmation

Cancellation takes effect after the agreed notice period rather than automatically at the next renewal. Desk displays the recorded request and effective end where supported; we confirm emailed notices and retain their receipt time.

If portal access fails, email us. We use the time we received a clear cancellation request when resolving a renewal charge caused by a processing delay on our side.

If you do not receive confirmation, contact us so we can check the request.

Services when care ends

Fat Spider-provided services cease at the effective service end after the applicable notice period, including associated Desk access, managed hosting, workflow operation, maintenance and support where included in care. Workflows relying on those services may stop. Arrange needed export, handover or replacement services before that date. Unpaid service may be paused only through the agreed overdue-notice process.

Your ownership of client accounts and fully paid custom deliverables remains intact. Custom migration or transition work requires separate agreement. Ending care does not automatically delete your data or authorize deletion of client-owned systems.

Other agreements and data

One-time projects and separately agreed minimum commitments follow the cancellation provisions in their written agreement.

Cancellation does not automatically delete your data. Data return, deletion, and transition assistance follow the service agreement and Privacy Policy.
